In 1997, the university began collecting artifacts related to Taiwan\u2019s Indigenous peoples, and in 1999, with the support of the Ministry of Education, established the <strong>Indigenous Peoples Museum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The museum was founded with the vision of fostering awareness and respect for Indigenous education. It aims to provide a platform for Indigenous students to reconnect with their cultural roots and to confidently share their own stories. As the museum expanded in 2014, it strengthened its role in preserving and exhibiting Indigenous artifacts, offering students hands-on opportunities to engage with their heritage. The museum also encourages students to participate as volunteer docents, promoting cultural exchange and intergenerational transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than just a place of preservation, the museum serves as a space where Indigenous students can rediscover their identity, build confidence, and be inspired to honor and carry forward their traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/isrc.tcu.edu.tw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/%E6%93%B7%E5%8F%96-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-695\" style=\"width:476px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u539f\u4f4f\u6c11\u535a\u7269\u9928\u76ee\u524d\u8490\u85cf16\u65cf\u5668\u76bf\u3001\u8863\u98fe\u3001\u6f01\u7375\u3001\u796d\u7940\u3001\u6a02\u5668\u3001\u5bb6\u5177\u7b49\u6578\u767e\u4ef6\u6587\u7269\uff0c\u4e26\u88fd\u4f5c\u5e03\u8fb2\u3001\u6cf0\u96c5\u3001\u963f\u7f8e\u3001\u6392\u7063\u3001\u9b6f\u51f1\u7b49\u65cf\u881f\u50cf\u518d\u73fe\u7576\u6642\u751f\u6d3b\u60c5\u6cc1\uff0c\u4e5f\u85c9\u6b64\u71df\u9020\u65cf\u7fa4\u4e92\u52d5\u7684\u5b78\u7fd2\u60c5\u5883\u3002\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u672c\u6821\u4e26\u65bc\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u898f\u5283\u6210\u7acb\u7684\u539f\u4f4f\u6c11\u6587\u737b\u7279\u85cf\u5340\uff0c\u6536\u85cf\u539f\u4f4f\u6c11\u5404\u985e\u9109\u571f\u6587\u5316\u6559\u80b2\u5178\u7c4d\u53ca\u5176\u5b83\u5f71\u97f3\u3001\u8996\u807d\u51fa\u7248\u54c1\u4e09\u5343\u9918\u4ef6\uff0c\u622e\u529b\u6536\u96c6\u76f8\u95dc\u6587\u737b\u8cc7\u6599\uff0c\u4f5c\u70ba\u5e2b\u751f\u6559\u5b78\u7814\u7a76\u53c3\u8003\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the Indigenous Peoples Museum houses hundreds of artifacts representing 16 Indigenous groups, including tools, clothing, hunting and fishing equipment, ritual objects, musical instruments, and household items. Life-size wax figures of the Bunun, Atayal, Amis, Paiwan, and Rukai peoples vividly depict traditional daily life, creating immersive, interactive learning environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, Tzu Chi University has established a dedicated <strong>Indigenous Special Collections Section<\/strong> within the university library. This archive contains more than 3,000 items, including books, multimedia materials, and publications focused on Indigenous education and local culture. It serves as a valuable resource for teaching, research, and the continued exploration of Taiwan\u2019s rich Indigenous heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\"
